We’re really pleased to be presenting our work again as part of the Birmingham REP’s First Stages theatre for children programme in The Door.
We’re best known for our Language Alive touring theatre in education work in primary schools, working with children all over Birmingham and the West Midlands in over 500 performances each year. We recently began presenting versions of some of our shows in theatres and other venues. It’s been a great opportunity to take our work to new audiences and different settings – last year we even performed on railway platforms.
On Saturday 18th October, we’re presenting Rainforest Symphony, a musical adventure down the Amazon to find the home of Acapella the frog who has accidentally arrived in Birmingham in a delivery of fruit. For the run up to Christmas, we’re presenting Under the Stars, an enchanting journey into the world of The Arabian Nights, including familiar tales such as Sinbad the Sailor and Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves and a chance to discover new ones. Under the Stars runs from 09th – 20th December and there are discounts for groups.
You can book both shows through The REP website: http://www.birmingham-rep.co.uk/whats-on/
We look forward to seeing you there.
