Curriculum-based work
The largest part of the work of The Play House is its programmes and projects aimed at supporting and developing the curriculum, including the development of cross-curricular learning.
Language Alive! theatre-in-education tours, which have been bringing the curriculum to life for 3 – 11 year olds for nearly 25 years, provides the mainstay of this provision, and has it’s own page here.
The Play House also provides a range of other work to support the curriculum, which includes extended residencies, mentoring, CPD and consultancy, and includes specific curriculum areas as well as developing cross-curricular practice.
Teachers who would like to get more involved can also become part of our teachers’ group.
