Language Alive! was the orginal part of The Play House. Its theatre-in-education work has been bringing the curriculum to life for 3 – 11 year olds across Birmingham since 1986.
All its theatre-in-education tours work with just a single class at a time ensuring each participant has the opportunity not only to watch but also to enter into rich fictional worlds and interact with a range of situations and characters.
“Language Alive! is like a magic key which unlocks children’s hearts and minds”
Tim Brighouse, former Chief Education Officer, Birmingham City Council
Although the Language Alive! work is based in Birmingham, The Play House tours the programmes to other areas across the West Midlands. Please get in touch if you’re interested.
